Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Marsus Digital Limited uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies on marsus.com. It reflects the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.

1. What This Policy Covers

We may use not only traditional cookies, but also local storage, similar browser-side storage, event-based measurement tools and error / performance diagnostics. Some technologies are necessary for the site to function properly; others are activated subject to your preferences and the law that applies.

2. Consent Management Tool

We use a consent management service delivered through cookie.marsus.digital. This tool is used to present optional categories, record and update your choices, and help determine which technologies should run. Preference history, timing information, locale and related management data may be processed for this purpose.

3. Strictly Necessary and Functional Technologies

  • Preference storage: records needed for the consent manager to function and remember the choices you make.
  • Interface preferences: limited settings such as theme selection and dismissal of locale prompts.
  • Security and anti-spam: technologies such as Google reCAPTCHA used to protect contact and quote forms.

These technologies may be required to provide the site securely and consistently.

4. Analytics and Product Improvement Technologies

We use PostHog Cloud EU to measure site usage and understand conversion paths. PostHog is configured in cookieless mode, so it does not rely on traditional analytics cookies, but it may still process page views, clicks, referring URL information, browser / device data and similar event data. Depending on our infrastructure setup, analytics requests may be proxied through our domain and forwarded to PostHog's EU endpoints.

When you complete a contact form, quote request or newsletter sign-up, the related event record may include data that you entered, such as your name, email address, phone number, company details or message content. Optional analytics and measurement technologies are operated subject to applicable law and your recorded preferences.

5. Error Monitoring, Performance and Security

We use Sentry to detect, investigate and fix faults affecting the site. This may involve error logs, performance data, browser and device context, console warning/error information and sampled session replay. Diagnostics that are necessary for security or essential service continuity may remain active where the law allows; non-essential replay-style features may be subject to your preferences.

6. Embedded Media and Third Parties

Where the site includes embedded media or other third-party content, providers such as YouTube may place cookies or use similar technologies when that content loads or is played. Their use of those technologies is governed by their own policies.

7. Technologies We Do Not Currently Use

As of the latest update to this page, the public site does not rely on standalone advertising or retargeting tools such as Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads remarketing or a separate Google Analytics setup. Our measurement stack currently relies primarily on PostHog Cloud EU and Sentry.

8. How to Manage Your Choices

You can update or withdraw your choices through the consent management tool available on the site. You can also manage or delete cookies and similar storage through your browser settings, although blocking some technologies may affect security, form handling, stored preferences or media playback.
